Superman Statue (Christopher Reeve)

Here is a statue I sculpted of Christopher Reeve as Superman. The movie premiered 46 years ago on December 10th, 1978, at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. I was inspired to create the sculpt in honor of Christopher Reeve, who not only portrayed a superhero in the movies but lived his life as a hero in real life. This year also marked the 20th anniversary of his passing. Sculpted in ZBrush , base mesh, and posing done in Character Creator 4, textures in Substance Painter, renders done in Marmoset Toolbag 4 and composited in Photoshop.
